Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 


To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at orders@eliteshield.com. If your return is accepted, We will issue you an RMA with return information. Free return shipping applies only to incorrect items received, in this case we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please note that we cannot provide return shipping for international orders.

Damages And Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Warranty Policy

At EliteShield, we stand behind the quality of our products and aim to ensure you have the best experience possible. All our products are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects at the time of purchase. Please review the information below for full details on our warranty coverage.

What’s Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • High winds, extreme weather, or natural disasters

  • Tears caused by sharp corners, objects, or friction—be sure to pad all sharp edges

  • Water pooling on the cover, which can cause leaks or tears

  • Customer modifications, misuse, or abuse

  • Normal wear and tear, weather soiling, or environmental stains

  • Damage from animals, rodents, or insects

  • Failure to use a cover support system or proper installation techniques

  • Color fading due to sun exposure or environmental factors

  • Items purchased from unauthorized third-party sellers or marked as Closeout / As-Is

Important Details

  • The warranty period varies by product and is limited and pro-rated based on materials and usage.

  • Warranty starts on the original purchase date.

  • Warranty coverage is non-transferable and is voided if the product is modified (e.g., cut holes, writing, etc.).

  • Warranty applies only to products purchased and shipped within the continental USA.

  • Covers must be properly installed, secured, and maintained, and used only as intended.

Pro-Rated Warranty Policy

At EliteShield, we offer limited warranties that are pro-rated based on the age of the product at the time of an approved warranty claim. Instead of a refund, customers will receive credit toward the replacement of the same item, calculated from the original purchase price and the warranty schedule below.

  • This policy applies only to approved warranty claims.

  • Credit is issued toward a replacement item only—no cash refunds.

  • The percentage shown is the credit value you’ll receive based on the year of ownership.

How the Pro-Rated Credit Works

  • If your warranty claim is approved, the credit percentage (based on the age of the product) will be applied to the original purchase price.

  • You will then be able to use this credit amount toward a replacement of the same or equivalent product.

A Note About New Marine Vinyl

New marine vinyl can release gases that may cause color transfer between vinyl and fabrics (including boat covers, bimini tops, and seat cushions). To avoid damage, we recommend waiting at least 4 weeks before using a cover on boats with brand-new vinyl interiors.
Please note: Degradation or discoloration caused by fabric contact with uncured marine vinyl is not covered under warranty.

Filing a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product qualifies for a warranty claim, please contact us with the following:

  • Order ID/detail

  • Purchase date

  • Product part number and description

  • Clear photos of the damage

  • Photo of the product tag

Please Note:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping charges for warranty claims.

  • We will cover shipping on replacement or repaired products.

This is a limited warranty, and we reserve the right to repair or replace products at our discretion. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to use or misuse of our products.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method in the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
