SolaquaShield Sailboat Mainsail Boom Cover

I give it a 'great' do to quilty of build, form , fit ...well done , espicially at this price point. We will see how many seasons it holds up, but I am certain it should last several. The balance of my canvas cover is Hunter's Green...this 'Green' blends just fine, just not a perfect match...fits my old boat!

I was seriously hesitant to order a mainsail cover online that was not, by a sailmaker who came to the boat and measured and sewed to fit. To my surprise and a wonderful surprise out of the bag it was a perfect fit. I did measure before ordering, front of the mast to the back of the boom and ordered to that size. Fantastic job in making a sail cover that's not a 1,000.00 and works. Huge well done.

I’ve looked into other companies, making sale covers from basic to custom and cost far more than this one. And this one is just wonderful with zipper and Velcro and the ties. It’s an excellent choice for the replacement of my sale cover

I have a 12 ft boon, and the previous cover didn't fully cover the sail. Plus it was hard to fit over the furled sail at the mast.
The new cover fully covered the furled saul and fitts easily over the section by the mast.
The color is close match to my other canvas.

Looks great and fits nicely

Love the sail cover. Fabric seems very durable. Cover is full and not a super tight fit which I like. Zipper and Velcro closure on the mast works smoothly. Love all the closures ion the cover. The only negative is color does not match my Sunbrella Bimini top.

I stitch canvas for my boats. I can't buy Sunbrella and sew a cover for what Eliteshield has provided for $150! It's a bit more volume than what I need for my 26' Pearson Commander, but it is a well made mainsail cover, with easy webb snaps, and lots of 1/8" braid line for wrapping at the mast and end of the boom. And the sail cover bag is a bonus! This is quality stuff!

I was looking to replace my old sunbrella cover because my new sails were stiffer and I had trouble fitting the cover around the main. I was looking for a rommier cover with adjustable bottom fasteners.
Your cove is perfect . Roomier, nicer material, and bottom snap fasteners. Highly satisfied.

I emailed support that my boom being 10 feet, and asked which size I should get. They responded 10 feet. The issue is the sizes are 9 to 10and 10 to 11 feet. So no help there.

The biggest complaint on online reviews is that they are too long so I went with 9 to 10 foot. It's about 6 inches too long.

The material is, I'm guessing, pvc coated. So I'm not sure how they claim breathable. But time will tell.

All and all it's a pretty good value for the coast. We were planning on sewing our on and the fabric we chose is about what we paid for this sail cover.

The sail cover fits about like I expected. I had read in other reviews that it was big and indeed it was. It probably could have covered a furled sail of diameter 4" more than mine. That said, it's far better to be a bit too big than too small. Workmanship and components (buckles, basically) seem fine. Material is lighter than the Sunbrella I'm used to; but it's too early to tell is that's a bad thing or not. So far, I'm happy.

Seems to be pretty good. Got the 10-11 foot one but think the 9-10 would have been better even though my boom is 10' 8".

This is a well-made sail cover. If the material stands up to the sun, it will last quite a while.
I have a 9' 6" long boom. I bought the cover sized for 9-10 foot boom. It is a bit long. I could have used the next smaller size.
The cover is deep enough to cover a huge sail. My mainsail has a luff of 21' 6". There is enough volume under this cover to hold two of my mains. It results in a lot of excess material. I solved this problem by lashing around the cover so it doesn't flap in the wind.
This is a budget cover which works but not perfectly. Perfect would require a custom cover which I was not willing to pay for.

Works as promised & fit like a glove. I appreciated the extra long tie lines and straps.

I order to 10-11’ Main sail cover in white. The length works great with my 130” boom. The clips and Velcro and the ties are well placed. The material is very sturdy. The price was very reasonable.

Finally, a reasonably priced, quality, off-the-shelf mainsail cover.
I needed a new mainsail cover to fit a 1975 Pearson 36, so I went to Google Search and I ended up at a good place, EliteShield.
